Provide your child with a great education
We have small class sizes with two teachers in every room to ensure that your child gets the individualized attention they need in order to be successful. From arts and crafts to outdoor play areas, your child can learn social, physical, and cognitive skills to help prepare them for kindergarten. We also offer games, assessments, and computers in the classrooms.
Prepare your child for kindergarten
Here at Winchester Day Preschool we believe that learning should be a fun experience. We prepare children for Kindergarten by teaching self-help skills, colors, shapes, number and letter recognition as well as helping them master name writing. Each child is assessed twice a year, and at the Pre-K level we utilize the Pre-K PALS (Phonological awareness literacy screening) assessment. We teach all skills through a play based/ hands on approach as we believe children learn best when they are a part of the process. We want the children we serve to enter Kindergarten as successful and confident learners; therefore, we value the importance of creating a learning environment that is fun and encourages a love for learning.
